Liz Earle Eyebright

I am really not good with eye products at all. I often find them irritating my eyes and then when I put my make up on they go itchy and I end up with panda eyes... Not a good look. So, anyway, when my mum bought this for me in a Liz Earle set after constantly complaining about my eyes 'aching' in the morning, but I was a bit apprehensive to try it.

After trying it and falling in absolute LOVE with it, it is part of my morning and night routine. In the morning I soak cotton wool pads in a cup for a few minutes whilst I go and lie in bed for a bit, and then I put them on my eyes for a couple of minutes. It is so soothing and refreshing. I definitely does what it says on the tin! I know it is not in a tin but you get the gist...

I then apply my eye makeup and I feel so awake - such a good thing for getting up for school in the dark winter mornings! At night before I go to bed I do the same but do not soak them directly onto my eyelids, I wipe the soaked cotton pad onto my eyes and usually within 2-3 wipes all of my make up is removed. It's like magic, I swear. If it is a weekend and I am wearing more makeup than school days them it may take just a little more time to take it off, but not much.

I am so glad that my mum got this as a little treat for my sleepy morning eyes and I am definitely going buy the bigger bottle! I can not recommend this high enough.

Have you tried this? Does it work as good for you?

Philosophy cleanser, fragrance and moisturser

I received both of these products as birthday presents after debating whether to but them or not for quite a while!
The purity cleanser is really good and removes all make up easily. It costs just £17.50 from Boots, which is extremely good value for money because it lasts quite a long time, so you don't have to but a new cleanser every 2-3 weeks! It keeps your skin very clear and is left feeling fresh. One of my fav Philosophy products.
The 'hope in a jar' moisturiser is not as good as I thought - it does sting if you get it near your eyes. This is more expensive at £34 and I thought this was a bit too much for a moisturiser that I can pick up off the high street for much cheaper and just as good quality. The smell isn't too nice either!
I also got the 'Amazing Grace' perfume which I absolutely LOVE and smells lush! It is definitely worth £32! I would recommend the cleanser and perfume, but sadly not the moisturiser!

Ola! I see you've somehow stumbled upon my blog. My name is Elise Dopson and I live in the UK. I created this blog as I've ran out of people to talk to without suddenly running off on a tangent about something beauty or fashion related! I've been reading beauty and fashion blogs for months and was waiting to pluck up the courage to make my own. That brings us to today! The launch of elisedopson.blogspot.co.uk. I'll probably look back on this and think 'what the hell was I doing' but it's worth a try - if you don't try you'll never know!

On this blog I'm hoping to include hauls, reviews, and the odd random ramble thrown in just for good measure. So, put your feet up, grab a cup of tea and chat - we have beauty to talk about! :)

Au reviour!

P.S. I don't always say hello/goodbye in a different language, I don't even know why I did that. I can speak English, I promise.
